Georgia Athanasiou founded Bay Area CFO Consultants to help private companies manage their finances, with a focus on cash flow, so they can achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
Prior to BACFOs, Georgia was Head of Finance and Administration for Sensys Networks, a Smart Cities technology company that disrupted the intelligent transportation space. As a founding member of the management team, Georgia successfully managed the financial functions through a period of 3000% revenue growth over a three year period. The company debuted in 80th position on the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies, and 35th position on Deloitte's 500 Growing High Tech Companies. Sensys Networks was acquired by TagMaster, a Swedish company in 2019.
She holds an MSBA in Business Analysis and Finance from San Francisco State University and a BS in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
